Mayor Mark Freeman and Jim Starkey — May 17, 2025. Honest conversation on the orange couch.
No teleprompters. No script. Just two men sitting down with neighbors, sharing stories and real talk about what matters most in Mesa.
On May 17, 2025, Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman sat down with longtime resident Jim Starkey for a heartfelt community conversation. Surrounded by a room full of Mesa neighbors, they spoke about life, faith, service, and the shared values that keep Mesa strong.
Though they come from different paths, Mayor Freeman and Jim share a belief in the power of listening, honesty, and simply showing up. That evening wasn’t about politics—it was about connection. Families, business owners, and longtime residents came together for something real.
“This wasn’t about headlines or applause. It was about connection. And that orange couch turned out to be the perfect place to do it.”
The conversation touched on Mesa’s past and future. Mayor Freeman shared stories from his time in the fire service and on the family farm—examples of what leadership looks like when it’s built on hard work, trust, and neighborly care. The questions were thoughtful, the crowd was engaged, and the atmosphere was full of hope.
Mayor Freeman left that evening more encouraged than ever. Not because the challenges ahead are easy—they aren’t—but because Mesa is filled with good, decent people who care deeply. When folks come together to talk, listen, and laugh, it reminds us we’re all in this together.

I used to jump between different sites but this one finally made me stay put. The login page is super stable even during peak hours and I never had any trouble accessing my account. Rewards stack up nicely and the monthly offers keep the gameplay fresh. It really feels like a home away from home. w888login
As someone who prefers platforms that understand local preferences this one hits all the right notes. The game selection mixes classic favorites with fresh releases and the loading speed is impressive. I also appreciate how transparent the rules are across every section. It makes weekend play so much more enjoyable. phggpanalo
