Mayor Mark Freeman joined business leaders on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, to break ground on a new 950,000-square-foot logistics hub in southeast Mesa. The facility will serve as the Arizona regional headquarters for DSV, a global transport and logistics company.
During the ceremony, the mayor emphasized the facility’s role in strengthening the semiconductor supply chain. He noted that the project’s proximity to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is a strategic advantage for the region’s expanding technology corridor.
“This development is a significant step in our effort to elevate Mesa as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing,” Freeman said.
The project is expected to create several hundred high-wage jobs for residents in the East Valley. It follows a series of recent economic wins for the city, including new investments in utility infrastructure and public safety technology.
Construction on the logistics hub is slated for completion by early next year.
