Earlier this week, Mayor Mark Freeman joined members of the Mesa City Council, the Mesa Fire and Medical Department, and leadership from the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management to celebrate the community’s official Firewise sign dedication. The path to becoming a Firewise-recognized community required extensive planning, coordination, and physical mitigation.
